Dennis Wilson`s amazing musical ability was underrated, due in part (perhaps) to his good looks and "bad boy" image. Though the remaining Beach Boys only sang of "boards" and "tidal waves", Dennis was the group`s only surfer. As a drummer, his work was always stellar. Yet his work as singer and songwriter was equally great. Dennis`s song "Forever" (1970), and the solo effort "Pacific Ocean Blue" (1977) are rightly regarded as superb musical contributions
