Short BiographyMia Sarapochiello was born on June 19, 1967 in Brooklyn Heights, New York. She attended St. Anne’s School in New York and graduated from there in 1985.Mia won her first feature starring role, debuting as Princess Lili in Ridley Scott`s fairy tale adventure, “Legend” with Tom Cruise. That same year she gained her most well-known character, the role of the Sloane Peterson in “Ferris Bueller`s Day Off,” which she claims was ‘one of the best scripts’ she had ever read. Mia Sara won the Best Supporting Actress Saturn Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films in 1994 for her role as Melissa Walker, Jean Claude Van Damme’s wife in “Timecop.” She has several dozen other titles in her resume as well, ranging from tv spots to feature films, spanning more than twenty years. Sara received her private pilot’s license in 1994. She has a motion picture production company with “My Science Project” star Danielle Von Zerneck. She also has two Wheaton Terriers. Sara married Jason Connery, legendary Hollywood star Sean Connery’s son in 1996. In 1997 they had a son, Dashiell Quinn. They divorced in 2002.
