Short Biography

With an Austrian father and a Filipino mother, Myleene Klass is a classically trained pianist from six generations of classical musicians on her father`s side. She began to learn the piano and violin from the age of four and then the harp at 12.
Her big break came when in 2001 ITV’s Popstars gave an opportunity for contestants to become part of a newly formed pop band. She was chosen as one of members of Hear’Say and their first single ‘Pure and Simple’ became the fastest selling non-charitable record ever, selling 1.3 million copies
In 2006 she took part in the 6th series of ITV’s highly successful reality television series ‘’I’m a Celebrity, Get me out of here’’. She was paid a reported £100,000 to appear on the show, making her the equal-highest paid female in history of the show with Jordan (Kate Price).
Myleene was very successful on the show, as she was regularly featured taking cold showers in a bikini, which she subsequently auctioned off for charity raising £7500. . She came in second place although she was 6/5 favourite to win.
Fuelled by image searches of Myleene in her bikini, she became the number 1 most searched for celebrity in the world by UK internet users.
Commenting on her famous showers, she said she never expected it to be such a focus of attention and that the reason for her frequent cold showers was to help cope with her sexual frustration, saying "Forget snakes and spiders - going without sex was the hardest thing."
She has since refused big money offers from Playboy and the likes, but has been very busy including prime time TV presenting, recording classical piano pieces and as swimwear model for M&S.
On August 16th 2007 she gave birth to a baby girl named Ava Bailey Quinn, 3 weeks prematurely. Her spokesman said: "Myleene presented ‘’The One Show’’ and felt a bit weird on the way home. She went to the hospital to get checked out and they told her she was in labour".
