Short Biography

Santiago Cabrera, born to a Chilean diplomat, did not originally plan to become an actor. In fact, he had planned on becoming a soccer star and played soccer for three years on a scholarship before switching gears and headed towards acting. Cabrera grew up all over the world, spending most of his childhood in London, Romania, and Madrid. Although he grew up in such historic cities, he still considers his namesake of Santiago, Chile to be his true home.
