Short Biography

Stana Katic was born on April 26, 1978 in Hamilton Ontario. Both her parents are of Croatian decent hailing from the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia. By the age of four she knew what she wanted to become an actress.

Stana Katic graduated from West Aurora Senior High School
in Aurora, Illinois. Quickly following that she enrolled in the University of Toronto considering careers in biology, international law, and modeling. A chance run in with a friend set Stana back on the path of acting.

Quickly changing schools, Stana studied Classical, Shakespearean, Stage, Ballet, Isshinryu Karate, Film Combat at Goodman School of Drama, now renamed DePaul University, in Chicago, Illinois.

Stana made her film debut in 1999 in a student film titled "Acid Freaks".
