I think things went really well. It has a very nice look to it and performed well.

He was the man in charge. In charge of everything.

It accelerated everything a hundred-fold. There are things that we have put into place today that we`d still just be considering, but that made us realize that we couldn`t afford to have that happen again.

I don`t think I`m alone in saying that Michigan is my favorite track,

I don`t know how he`s blaming me. Jeff came up. He`s got to know that someone else is there, too.

I don`t know how [Green] is blaming me because I was on the bumper of the car in front of me and just hit him. Jeff was coming up. I don`t know if he was trying to get air on that or what and he touched the left-front of my car. He`s got to know that somebody else is there, too.

I think that everybody in the garage area has a lot of respect for Jeff and I think that`s because of what he`s accomplished and the way he`s gone about it that NASCAR has that same respect for him.

I think Dale would at least be pleased from that to know that we moved forward in that. He and I had a discussion the week of the Daytona 500 about the HANS because he was questioning me why I was wearing it. But certainly, there were a lot more put into use the weeks following that Daytona 500.

If Dale could see what has happened, he would have a huge smile on his face. Even though there`s nobody to take his place, the sport has done exactly what he wanted it to do. It`s gone right to the top.

I`m not sure that person exists. I don`t know that you`re going to have that whole package in one person again.
