Talk Show Host Makes Fantasia Barrino Cry

Troubled singer Fantasia Barrino broke down in tears on TV on Friday when she was quizzed by chat show host Wendy Williams about her recent suicide attempt.

Barrino was taken to hospital last month after overdosing on sleeping pills and aspirin and she has since revealed the attempt was no accident - she wanted to die.

The drama prompted hardcore gossip queen Williams to ask the former American Idol star if she thought about her daughter before deciding to take her life.

The pertinent question prompted her chat show guest to burst into tears.
