Howard Hendrick is a Republican politician from the US state of Oklahoma. Hendrick was serving as the Oklahoma Secretary of Human Services, having been appointed by Democratic Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry in 2003.
H. Ray Dunning (born October 26, 1926 in Clarksville, Tennessee, USA) is a theologian in the Church of the Nazarene and retired professor of theology at Trevecca Nazarene University. He earned a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1969. Dunning is the author of many books, including Grace, Faith and Holiness. He is a past President (1985) of the Wesleyan Theological Society.
Lyman C. Pettit (October 1868 in Northumberland, New York – March 8, 1950 in Lockport, New York) was the founder and first president of the Pentecostal Collegiate Institute (now Eastern Nazarene College); the founding pastor of both the Congregational Methodist Church of Saratoga Springs, and the First People's Church of Brooklyn, New York; and an ordained clergyman who pastored churches in the Methodist Episcopal Church, the Association of Pentecostal Churches of America (a forerunner to the Church of the Nazarene), and the Presbyterian Church in the United States of America.
J. Kenneth Grider (1921 – December 6, 2006) was a Nazarene Christian theologian and former seminary professor primarily associated with the followers of John Wesley who are part of the Holiness movement. A member of the Church of the Nazarene, he graduated from the Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1947 and received his PhD from the University of Glasgow in 1952. His "magnum opus" is the 1994 book A Wesleyan-Holiness Theology (ISBN 0-8341-1512-3). Long active in Wesleyan circles, he taught at the Nazarene Theological Seminary for 38 years and was also one of the translators of the New International Version of the Bible.
