It's Official: Paris Hilton and Cy Waits Split

Just a week ago, Paris Hilton was the model of a content girlfriend. At an event at Marquee Las Vegas, Hilton told PEOPLE about Cy Waits, "We're just really happy where we are right now. We're good."

But Tuesday night, Hilton told TV host George Lopez on Lopez Tonight, "We're not together anymore. I love him and we remain really good friends ... I feel like the relationship ran its course and we'll see what happens."

It had been several days in which Hilton hadn't Tweeted a peep about the former nightclub owner, the man who has helped get her in shape and with whom she has shopped for engagement rings.
