Wills & Kate's relationship was a pretty amazing one – friendship, then love, then a brief split where they realised how much they wanted to be with another, an African proposal and to top it all off Diana's engagement ring. So we knew that the wedding would be a total spectacle and the one to beat for 2011 and pretty much the one to beat for the foreseeable future.

We don't think there will be another wedding like this one anytime soon. And what we loved most about it was that the couple were actually madly in love – that's super rare for a royal wedding!

So now the big day is but a distant memory the couple are under immense pressure to produce an heir to the throne. Phew! This couple never seem to be able to sit back and chill - but I guess that's how it is when you are the future King & Queen of England!

We don't know if 1,728 hours of wearing wedding bands can be called a marriage but the amount of hype this wedding created makes it the biggest in 2011.

The 400 guests, the $10m price tag, the black and white theme, the three dress changes, the $18m in royalties it generated... this wedding had a life of its own. Not enough life to carry it much past the ceremony though! There was always doubt about the Kim & Kris pairing - even Kim's sister Khloe made the call that this would be a short lived marriage. The only people truly shocked were the fans - 5 million of them watched Kim's wedding and we are sure many more were baffled by the break up.

We just think it was a bit weird marrying a guy who has the same name as your Mum - perhaps that was a sign? What we want to know is whats going to happen to the 20.5-carat, $2 million Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring?

It was clear that Rachael was not going to wait too long to get married to Daniel. After all she has a kid and left a relationship of 9 years to be with him. She saw his last relationship draw out for six years with no action and she wasn't going to go down the same path.

The couple had both left long term relationships to be with each other after growing close during the filming of a psychologival thriller in which they played a husband and wife.

Both Rachael and Daniel prefer total privacy when it comes to their private lives so it makes sense that their wedding was kept completely off the radar.

We think it's amazing that they were able to pull it off with no tip offs to the media, no sneaky papps or secret snaps. Perhaps it was because there were only 4 other people who knew about it – Rachael's 4 year old son, Daniel's 18 year old son and two close friends!

Could it be third time lucky for Shannon - or will she continue to edge closer and closer to Liz Taylor's record of eight marriages?

There's some speculation around whether Kurt was actually still married or not when he started dating Shannon. It wouldn't surprise us if Shannon had started a relationship with a married man - after all she's as well known for her bad behaviour as she is for her role as "Brenda" on 90210... and then there's the controversial exit from witch themed TV show "Charmed".

We wish Shannon all the best and hope that now she can be best known for proving that the third time is the charm!

Who would have thought Kate Moss would finally get over her total love obsession with Johnny Depp and finally find someone who could take his place in her heart. We didn't think it was possible and it pained us to see her move back and forth from unhappy relationship to drugs and back again.

Thankfully Kate has found her man and she wed him in a three day celebration dubbed "Moss-stock". It was a rock 'n' roll type affair with the bride "snogging the face off" her groom upon exciting the church.

Kate's a rocking type chick and Jamie is actually in a band so its not a surprise they would choose blaring rock music to celebrate their marriage!

We just want to know if anyone actually got an official count on how many flower girls there were - it was like a group of gorgeous little cream and lace clad groupies!

They seem to have been together since the dawn of time (well actually since 1983) but after 25+ years together it was 2011 that played host to a miracle event for this couple - their wedding.

Shannon finally got her dream and married the man who swore he'd never get hitched! How did Shannon convince him to walk down the aisle? Who really knows - maybe she threatened to spend all his money on shoes if he didn't propose... oh wait she already does!

We don't really care why it happened we just think it's great that this legacy couple finally joined the married ranks - and the wedding was definitely great entertainment... who knew both their kids were such great singers! Rock on Gene & Shannon!

After a divorce, custody issues and several failed attempts at love it was nice to see Reese in the tabloids for a fantastic reason - her wedding!

It was held at her 7 million dollar ranch and 80 white doves were released moments before they said their vows. The Southern themed wedding suited Reese down to a tee and so does her new husband Jim.

We think its great she has married someone who understands celebrity and fame (he is an agent after all!) but isn't a major name himself. He will keep her grounded and be the type of stable man she has always wanted. Ryan who?

Everyone loves a funnyman... and we love it even more when he gets the girl! Seth was all laughs when he wed his longtime girlfriend, scriptwriter Lauren Miller.

According to guests the wedding was full of laughter and was non-stop fun. Now that sounds like a great wedding.

But Seth isn't just about the fun times. He is very outspoken about Alzheimers disease and is supporting his wife whose mother is currently suffering from the serious and incurable affliction. What a great guy - funny and sweet!

2011 seemed like a race for exes Nick and Jessica. Who could get married first and make the other one look like a jealous runner up? It seems Nick made it down the aisle first but Jessica's going to have a child first - does that technically make it a tie?

All that competition aside this couple make a good match. They met on the set of one of Nick's music videos and even though they split briefly these two look like they could go the distance.

The wedding was a fairy tale island type of affair, classy and intimate... very different from Nick's first wedding. The couple have talked about putting off plans for kids for a couple years but we wouldn't be surprised if it happened before then.

This wedding makes the Top 10 most note-able of 2011 for all the wrong reasons. This royal wedding was a real let down - maybe its because the Wills & Kate wedding was so amazing or maybe its just because this wedding was just plain wrong!

First there was all the controversy that surrounded it with Prince Albert having been busted for fathering ANOTHER illegitimate child just days before the nuptials. Then there were the reports of a failed escape attempt by Charlene to to leave the country just days before her wedding. Then on the day there was the unusually large amount of tears she shed throughout her ceremony. Finally, what was with that passionless, tense "kiss the bride" smooch?

We wouldn't be surprised if this marriage didn't go the distance... although as Charlene has proved its hard to escape a royal wedding so it'll be even harder to escape a royal marriage! Even though they say they couldn't be happier they don't look it. Maybe they will grow to love each other or least learn how to look happy in public!
