Review: Bonkers Guns N’Roses rock Birmingham’s LG Arena

THEY used to be mad, bad and dangerous to know.

Well, time has taken its toll. Guns N’Roses are no longer bad and dangerous to know.

They’re just bonkers.

The never-ending Chinese Democracy tour paid a second visit to Birmingham’s LG Arena on Saturday night - some 18 months after Axl Rose and his pantomime rockers played virtually the same set here.

In that time, they’ve grown even larger than life.


Because, make no mistake, this is rock and roll writ large. In day-glo primary colour poster paint.


If Marvel Comics did rock bands, then G N’R would be the new Avengers.
