Chad Johnson Files for Divorce from Evelyn Lozada

Former NFL star Chad Johnson has filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Evelyn Lozada, today (September 13) nearly one month after she filed for divorce from him.

Johnson cites the the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and is asking a judge to deny Lozada's request that he pay her legal bills.
Earlier today, Chad pled not guilty to charges of misdemeanor battery against Evelyn; the charges stemmed from an August 11th confrontation between the two, in which she found a receipt for condoms which led to an argument and Johnson allegedly head-butting her.
