Dennis Quaid Files to Divorce Wife Kimberly Buffington-Quaid

Six weeks after Kimberly Buffington-Quaid filed for legal separation from husband Dennis Quaid, the actor is fighting back with his own divorce petition, filed Friday, Nov. 30 in Los Angeles.

According to the paperwork obtained by TMZ, the 58-year-old actor is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 5-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe, and is offering to pay spousal support to his wife of eight years.Real estate agent Buffington-Quaid initially filed for divorce in March 2012, but withdrew her petition two months later.
