I was saddened to read about ALLAN MELVIN he was definitely a polished versatile actor who has been on tv shows/cartoons/commercials forever. what I really enjoyed was his wit, any role he played he did with ease. I saw ANDY GRIFFITH show, ALLAN MELVIN could play any character good or bad. Of course I recall BRADY BUNCH, ALL IN THE FAMILY, and cartoon voices. He will be missed.
