The pair, 18 and 25, have been canoodling for a few weeks, reports E! News.
“They were hanging out in Coachella and were flirting lots,” a source told the site. “They have many things in common and really enjoyed each other’s company. She loves his music as well. They are hanging out for sure now.”
The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, closed out the popular outdoor festival in April.
A second insider revealed The Weeknd and Hadid may have been dating longer than we know.
“They had met each other before Coachella, but that’s where they really clicked,” said the source. “It’s still new.”
Despite their romance still being fresh, they’ve ventured out on double dates of sorts.
They reportedly spent time with Hadid’s older sister, Gigi, and her boyfriend Cody Simpson as well as Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger before their relationship ended, shares Us Weekly.
