It was reported that he recently passed. If true, RIP to him.
For all who are interested, Ben is around and doing okay. The negative and inappropriate comments from medical and social service workers is disgusting. Remember your code of confidentiality. Leave him alone and let him live his life. I too am a professional and know him from the neighborhood. He deals with "Real" people, not "Fakes", maybe that's why he left Hollywood! Remember he is a person!
A great talent and kind heart. I wish you every blessing and happiness, my friend.
Ben Powers is currently being treated at Fatima Hospital in North Providence, Rhode Island for Both health & mental health issues.

Where are you ben?are u married with kids?
I grew up on "Good Times". When they fired the father, big mistake, Ben Powers as Keith Albert Anderson was a welcome addition to the show. I, too, want to know what became of him. Too many rumors, not enough facts.
Teddy B, don't you think you are being a little harsh with out knowing this man's journey. There but the grace of God could go you as my mother always said. Now you volunteer in a food pantry and you think you have the right to disclose private and disparaging information about the people you are saying you are supposedly there volunteering to help. Find another charitable job to do because your type of kindness appears to have a toxic side.
Ben Powers is sad to say a drug addict. He comes by a food pantry every week that I volunteer at in Rhode Island. He and his junkie friends are only happy when poor Ben recieves his SAG checks at the first of the month.
SO NO ONE REALLY KNOWS
i no where he is he wants to be left alone
I think Ben Belasco on the new BET series "Let's Stay together" looks, acts & voice is just like Ben Powers.
It would be really nice if the Good Times cast could have a reunion.
