Once met him, yes I'm that old, he came to Pwllheli and presented us with medals to commemorate the founding of the borough town by the Black Prince in 1355. We performed a sailor's hornpipe for him. It must have been 1955, and I was eleven. Bizarre...

Many years ago in a hotel reception where i lived was a full size portrait of Billy De Wolfe. Name of town is Pwllheli North Wales.Name of hotel is The West End Hotel.Anyone know more i wonder? As i remember we used to know him as a Welsh actor and lived in a hose in Penlan Street Pwllheli then moved to L A USA.
