Classically trained and starting her career at 19, Blaire acted for 20 years on film, TV and the stage, dividing her time between Los Angeles and New York. She attended Marlborough School in Los Angeles and NYU, studying theatre and film. She also studied in New York with Actors Studio veterans Geraldine Page and Estelle Parsons, while performing a wide range of roles at Playwrights Horizons and The Roundabout Theater. She participated in the very avaunt garde Off Off Broadway scene by night while playing "Kate Lang" on "The Guiding Light" by day,
She Guest Starred in Seinfield "The Pick", Ellen (Season Premiere), Cybill, The Naked Truth, Blossom, Married...With Children and The Michael Richards Show, Reba. E.R., Family Law, Without a Trace, Presidio Med,and Dragnet. A Leagueof Their Own. She has worked with acclaimed film directors, Ivan Reitman, Michael Mann, Charles Shyer and Nancy Meyers, Yvonne Rainer and Penny Marshall. She has worked opposite Nick Nolte, Tom Skerritt, Tom Sizemore, Mario Van Peebles, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Jobeth Williams, Kathleen Quinlan, Anthony Edwards, Dana Delaney and Ed O'Neill Her talents and interests have always been far reaching and "just acting" was never enough to hold her interest. Blaire founded a non-profit, The Los Angeles Drama Club - the Country's Youngest Shakespeare Troupe, where she serves as Artistic Director: bringing Shakespeare to children and youth in Los Angeles.
