Norm the song is called Wake Nicodemus and is from the 1800`s. Very easy to find the lyrics on the internet.

I am looking for the words to one of his older songs out of the 50`s, that may be called `Nicodemus the slave`; Nicodemus the slave was of African birth and was bought for a bag full of gold . I`m hoping that someone has the words, thanks.

Mr.Ives is such a wonderful memory for me.Just hearing his voice makes me feel such a peacefullness inside. I will forever love this dear old man as if he were my very own grandfather. I watch everything I can and love to listen to him sing. Just look at his sweet, kind, gentle face and I dare you to not just fall in love with him too. God rest his soul. I will keep him in my heart forever.
