another talented actor whos true potential was never seen or even explored due to serious poor health and illness. This dude can do more voices than Chris Barrie!

Posted by DAA aka mindfreak

This actor is gravely ill. God Bless to him.

Commedia dell Arte The Story The Style is missing from his film credits. His role was that of "Puck" The year of production was 2007. Thank you.

Posted by Yummy

Yes, commedia Dell arte the story the style and the part of puck has been taken down. (2007).

Commedia Dell Arte-The Story The Style. The role of Puck. This italian/australian film credit has been taken away from this page?

Posted by SPUTNIK

Commedia Dell arte the story the style:(2007) role:Puck has been taken down! He played "the little guy" in the short film I Can't Get Started" 2002. He did not play any police station visitor in Body Melt- he played the role of the voice of Beauville. Why are these details wrong and why has Commedia Dell/arte the story the style been taken off this page all of the sudden. Dean was brilliant as PUCK in that doco.

I hear you are gravely and seriously I'll. God bless, my prayers go out to you. I miss the drama school years. XO

He did not play the police station visitor in Body Melt. He played the VOICE of BEAUVILLE. I have also seen him in about 4 television shows not included in the above credits. He is a good stage actor, both comedy and drama. He is now very sick and had to give up acting in 2005. I wish he could get well. I send him love...xoxoxoxoxo

Posted by Mindfreak

TYPO. Sorry. The best ever portrayal of Shakespeare's LEPIDUS ever! Dean Measor played him as drunk as a skunk. Bloody sensational! What a freaking actor!

Posted by david meadows

Did he play "Mr Jiblets" on AL MURRAY'S COMPETE FOR THE MEAT?

Why can't STAGE/THEATER credits be shown or listed?
Dean Measor has close to 250 stage credits.
Why is FILM/TV
credits the only way to judge an actors' success?

Posted by DA-mindfreak

Hey Buddy,
just saying hello and wishing you kind regards.
Get well soon.

In his official biography Dean has spoken about his stroke, heart attack, diabetes, blood pressure, his rare degenerative joint disease, (30 surgeries) his failing and very poor eye sight and of course his battle with major depression and now anxiety/panic disorder. He has been bed ridden for the last eight years and has averaged around six operations a year since 2005. He has just come out of the FreeMason's Hospital after yet another operation for infection, severe liver complications and his loss of eye sight. He is really poorly, yet he thanks his friends and supporters/fans for even remembering him. He is a very gracious and humble man. Thank you to his 34 fans very much. :-)

I was in Pantomime (in a very minor role) with Dean in Sheffield in 1989. He was a lovely guy and a great little actor (full of beans) He was very professional but played it just as hard, if not harder after the shows. I remember he spent that 1989 Christmas Day all on his own. One of the cast asked him back to her London family but Dean stayed in the Yorkshire house we shared. It snowed that Christmas day. I often wondered what really made Dean "tick" as he always seemed kind and funny, yet he had many moments of what people would now call depression and anxiety. I wish him well and I'm very sad to hear he is so seriously ill. God Bless from Manchester's LemonadeLady13. X
