It is rumoured king of pop, Michael Jackson was head over heels in love with Miss Diana Ross, and confirmed by himself, "it took him years to get over her", as he confessed in the popular Glenda tapes. Michael was just a little kid when he met Diana, and though she always cared for him just like a mother, soon they started developing feelings for each other, by the time Jackson was in his late teens, but Ross was absolutely afraid media and people wouldn't understand their relationship and would judge her, since she was 14 years older than him. Adding the fact that his mother Katherine Jackson was not happy about it, and pushed Diana out of Michael's life and separated them physically too (since Jackson and Diana were living together, while everybody thought it was just "to take care of him"). Michael proposed to her years back and she agreed finally, but due to the circumstances, she backed up and married Arne Naess instead, and Michael was left heartbroken and 'couldn' ctop crying' as his brother would recall later.
It is rumoured too that after years and years of pursuing Diana Ross, Michael was devastated when she married someone else instead, and ended things straight away, and started trusting Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, and later developing feelings for her. However, she was still the inspiration to most of his heart-breaking songs, even in his Dangerous album, like 'Leave me alone', 'In the closet', 'Can't let her get away', 'Who is it', etc, always blaming people in the music industry for pushing them apar, but still completely mad at her for leaving him after agreeing to marry her and accepting his ring, and after being in love with her since practically his whole life.
