During the Christmas and New Year holidays the film "Ben-Hur" (1959) was again watched in our home, as so many times before. The new version of Ben-Hur is not nearly as good as this film with Charlton Heston and Haya Harareet. God bless you and have a Happy New Year 2013!
This lady is without doubt one of the most beautiful looking ladies that ever graced the screen. Elizabeth taylor does not even come close to this lady in the looks dept !!
She was one of the most beautiful women of this world
Dear Ms Harareet - I happened to catch the last hour or so of "Ben Hur" on TV yesterday, a film I have seen many times. I've often wondered why I never remember seeing you in any other films, as I've always thought your performance in "BH" very fine and sensitive - mostly understated, yet saying everything. In a very small way I also act and appreciate such qualities. So I checked you out online and was surprised to find that you ended your acting career quite early. But I'm sure you have had a very interesting life nonetheless, not least through being married to the great Jack Clayton. Doubtless you have a fascinating story to tell. I see, also, that you live in England which somehow I wasn't expecting. Congratulations on reaching your 80th birthday last September. With best wishes - David Kay
