Howard Hughes jr.was born on 24 December,1905.It states so in 2 books by Peter Brown and Pat Broeske (Howard Hughes:The Untold Story) and by Donald L.Barlett and James B.Steel (Howard Hughes: His life and madness). In the absence of a birth certificate which could not be found, his aunt Annette Gano Lumis and Estelle Sharp executed an affidavit stating this birthdate and place of birth (Houston ,Texas). Also, Howard`s tombstone states his birthday to be 24 Dec,1905.

Hughes never dated Susan Peters. The love of his life was Jean Peters, whom he married in 1957 and divorced in 1971. She`s not even listed in the pictures shown on his page. Neither is Ella Rice (his first wife)

I`m afraid the Terry Moore story is true. I knew and worked with her father, and I interviewed her about his flight to Lake Arrowhead and subsequent landing on the lake. She knew details only a girl friend would have known. Author and film historian

For the person who wanted to know if anyone else had as many girlfriends as Howard Hughes. From my own research, I can say that Scott Brady had as many or more in his lifetime. He must have been with thousands of women, including many of the women on this list.

The birthdate of Howard Robard Hughes, Jr. is disputed. Because there is not a known birth certificate - some say it was Dec. 24th, others say it was Sept. 24th. If anyone can confirm either date, please let me know.

You have entered the wrong birthdate for Howard Hughes. He was born December 24, 1905 not October. Thanks
