Believe this if you like. Seventy-nine-year old Sepp Blatter is a former lover of Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning ex Irina Shayk, according to reports in Spain.
Ladies man Blatter was forced to resign as head of FIFA earlier this week following the corruption scandal that has rocked world football.
And only yesterday, FAI CEO John Delaney revealed how he had to tell Blatter to “move on” after the Swiss man stared at his girlfriend Emma English before saying he “approved”.
Spanish newspaper today claims that Blatter had a relationship with Shayk after dating tennis player IIona Boguska and before he met his current girlfriend, 50-year-old Linda Barras.
A spokesperson for Shayk refused to comment on the claims.
Yesterday on the Ray D’Arcy show on RTE Radio, Delaney revealed a surreal recent encounter between Blatter and his partner Emma English, where the FAI was forced to tell the FIFA boss to stop staring at the PR event organiser.
"He met Emma, my partner, in Vienna recently," he said. "He stared at her for seven or eight seconds and he said, "I approve of your new girlfriend'".
"I asked him to move on, move on please.
"She is a great girl, I love her very much, it was an extraordinary moment. If she was here she would tell you herself. He stared at her and I said 'move on' and he did."
