Catcher in the Rye is a book that would appeal only to the mentally disturbed & brats.

I believe I have all of Sallinger`s works. I especially enjoy his various short stories. i tend to gravitate toward authors whose works appeared during the beat generation; Sallinger`s is a work I read when I want to escape to some old fashioned Americana.
