she was my favorite actor and i am now trying to collect all her movies on DVD so far i think i only got half of all the movie she in. I love her the most in all the movies she in AS LONG AS JANDE IN i love the move.
When the Burce family moved to Los Angeles, we lived next door. I gave Jane(Suzanne then) a sweet 16 birthday party. I went to Beverly Hills High and she went to studio school...We had lots of fun together. Today is her birthday and I would have liked to sent a card.....
Have just salvaged a copy of Janes Royal Wedding from the bargain bin and am so glad to get such a bargain. A great copy, DVD. Such a pleasure that movie is a good ole uncomplicated romance. We just like to leave it running so we can have the music and ingenuous content running sweetly on. Just now Fred Astaire is dancing not only on the ceiling but on the walls. Gee willikers how the heck did the maestro work that out? God bless Jane. Tell her that when she next comes to New Zealand she must give us a bell and we will look after her and take her for a free tour with my wife giving a sweet commentary.
I was always interested in Jane and have the video, The Royal Wedding and played it often. At one time I read that was dabbling in real estate in LA. This biography and all others are so cursory. She had a part in a movie with Jerome Courtland (?) where she had the line, "You used to say you loved me, well usentcha?", which I thought was terrific and very endearing.
SHE WAS MY DREAM GIRL WHEN I GREW UP!!!
