The R & B prince has a six-year-old on-and-off relationship with Liza Calove whom he first met while studying in St. Genevieve High School in Panorama City, which is near North Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. The lady is an accountant by profession and is two years his senior. Jay-R is 25.
“She’s mabait, sincere and she’s been there ever since, even before show business, even before the fame and fortune,” relates Jay-R about his significant other. He dedicates “Dream Girl” as the song for his lady-love, which happens to be his own composition. Atlantic Star’s “Always and Forever” is his favorite song because “it is the first song that made me feel what love is all about and, mind you, I was only eight at the time.”
