Looks like John conducted his own little scientific experiment when he first got together with Kelly. “You have to list everything you need and want from another human being,” he says. Then you go out with someone and find out how close their ideal scene is to yours. If your needs are comparable, you have a good chance of renegotiating the little things as they come up. It’s that simple.” Being married for more than a decade in Hollywood is the equivalent of 50 years elsewhere, so these two clearly know a thing or two about wants, needs and negotiation.
Preston married John Travolta on September 12, 1991. Their wedding (September 5, 1991) was performed by a French Scientologist minister (both Travolta and Preston are Scientologists). This marriage was declared legally invalid, but they married again within a month.
They had a son, Jett Travolta (April 13, 1992 - January 2, 2009), and have a daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta (b. April 3, 2000).
