Marlene Dietrich met John Wayne For The First time in 1940 when They Filmed Seven Sinners. During the filming she seduced him, took him to her bed for the first time. They continued to see each other after filming and became closer. They also did 2 more films The Spoilers , and Pittsburgh in 1942. Marlene Dieitrich and John Wayne`s Relationship lasted longer than the others. He found Marlene particulary fascinating, that she was exotically Charming, a extraordinarily aggressive woman who swept Duke off His Feet. They shared many interests,Including hunting, sailing, and fishing. Marlene Dietrich Became the Dukes Best friend and confidante too. They Played Chess during lulls in the shooting, attended football games, Prize fights, and took long drives up North to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo on The weekends. There Affair lasted from 1940 to 1945. However when he ended the affair he said, He did`nt like being part of a stable .

LITTLE KOJAKJun 26, 2010

While growing up, kids used to taunt him over his first name, so he began calling himself `Duke.` That was the name of his beloved dog.

LITTLE KOJAKJun 26, 2010

Who would you rather go see at the movies....a real man named John Wayne or a guy named Marion? I thought so.
