Karen Carpenter is my favorite singer of all time. The beauty of her voice was remarkable. I admit I had a HUGE crush on her, and was very sad whenshe died.

She`s my idol..She has a very nice voice..She died 12 yrs after I was born..I really wanted to see her.Because she`s one of the legends in the 20th century.She will never be forgotten.She is still alive in our minds.

Some Editor needs to add Mike Curb, Tony Danza, Mark Harmon, Steve Martin, and Tom Bahler who wrote a famous song called "Shes out of my life" after their breakup.

Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 – February 4, 1983) was an American singer and drummer. She and her brother, Richard Carpenter, formed the 1970s duo The Carpenters. Although her skills as a drummer earned admiration from drumming luminaries and peers, she is best known for her vocal performances. She had a contralto vocal range.
