Kelly Andrew Johnson (born February 22, 1982) is an American professional baseball utility player for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles. Johnson has played for eight different teams in his MLB career, including all five American League East teams. Primarily a second baseman and left fielder, Johnson has appeared at every position except for pitcher, catcher, and center field during his career.
