Kenneth Charles "Ken" Osmond (born June 7, 1943) is an American actor and retired policeman. Beginning a prolific career as a child actor at the age of four, Osmond is best known for his iconic role as Eddie Haskell on the 1950s television situation comedy Leave It to Beaver, and for reprising it on the 1980s revival series The New Leave It to Beaver. Typecast by the role, he found it hard to get other acting work and became a Los Angeles policeman. After retiring from the police, he resumed his acting career.

I've seen every episode 50 times(at least)but the ones with Eddie are fresh every time.Sometimes I still get a belly laugh,it's perpetual youth.

Actor Ken Osmond made for himself a nice slice of television immortality with the Eddie Haskell character. Osmond played the character virtually to perfection, probably the most dominant supporting role in television history. The characterization was so strong the name Eddie Haskell became a byword to an entire generation for the duplicitous, wise-craking adolescent. I really enjoy those Leave It To Beaver shows which are actually the Eddie Haskell episodes.
