Melvin Leon "Mel" Stottlemyre, Sr. (born November 13, 1941) is an American former professional baseball pitcher and pitching coach. He played for 11 seasons in Major League Baseball for the New York Yankees, and coached for 23 seasons. He is a five-time MLB All-Star and five-time World Series champion.
