Robert Armstrong made an appearance on Red Skelton`s tv show as a guest performer. In the middle of a skit, Skelton, out of a clear blue sky, looked at Armstrong and ad-libbed,"Did you ever getan that monkey off the building? Armstrong broke up and they never finished the skit.
