The intel laid down here is owned by Geraldine Edwards, from her bithday to her dating backgound. Penny Lane was a fictional character from Almost Famous based on Geraldine Edwards, who was a well known groupie from the '70's and a friend of Cameron Crowe when they were in their teens. Penny Lane was named in homage of the Beatles '67 hit.

You've listed Penny Lane as someone who dated Robert Palmer. I don't want to sound critical, but Penny Lane is a fictional character featured in Almost Famous. Cameron Crowe named the character Penny Lane as a tribute to the Beatles. However, Geraldine Edwards, who was Robert Palmer's fiancee at the time of his death, was the main inspiration for Penny Lane. Part of the character was also based on Bebe Buell. I can see how the confusion arose here, but it is clear that the data you have listed for Penny Lane belongs to Geraldine Edwards. Geraldine Edwards is 56 years old, was born on 6/13/57, and the musicians listed as dating Penny Lane correlate with Geraldine Edwards dating history. Insomuch as Geraldine Edwards is Penny Lane, so to speak, and the stats listed for Penny Lane belong to Geraldine Edwards, the data should probably be moved to her page. I had the pleasure of meeting Geraldine Edwards and her husband, Anthony Flemming-Mueller, and they are terrific people.

I remember seeing Robert Palmer and his fiancee, Geraldine Edwards, at Le Torque in Paris, France, while my husband and myself were vacationing there. Seeing Robert Palmer in person was worth the trip to Paris, he was gorgeous. His fiancee was not too bad looking either. I still have the autograph that he gave me. May he R.I.P.

Robert Palmer was dating Geraldine Edwards before he died. She was mentioned in interviews and there is a picture of her and Robert walking together in July of 2003 at an awards ceremony.

Robert was only married once despite conflicting information. He married Susan in 1970. They divorced amicably in the early 90s

Robert Palmer was seriously involved with Geraldine Edwards before he died. She was also the woman Almost Famous was written about, and Robert Palmer gave an inteview to Access Hollywood in 2003, shortly before his death, announcing Geraldine as his girlfriend. Thank you.

Robert Palmer`s girlfriend at the time of his death was Geraldine Edwards. The two had been together since Robert Palmer`s divorce from Susan Palmer in 1999. Robert and Geraldine were planning on relocating to Los Angeles in 2003, prior to Robert Palmer`s death. May he RIP.
