In 2005, Ellis-Bextor married The Feeling bassist Richard Jones at Palazzo Terranova in Italy. Their first son, Sonny, was born in April 2004. Their second son, Kit Jones, was born on 7 February 2009, nine weeks premature and weighing only 1.2 kg. This was her second complicated birth; their first son having been delivered eight weeks prematurely by emergency caesarean section after she developed pre-eclampsia. Their third child, also a son, named Ray Holiday Jones, was born on 25 April 2012.
