So, Steve...how many of these "posters" are actually you? Perhaps one day you'll figure out that telling the truth is much better than lying and scheming. I imagine your time locked up isn't doing any good to help rehabilitate you, though. Also, I am horrified at the thought of you "sponsoring" in AA. God help those poor souls.

Anyone that attempt to defend Kunes needs to do some research. If he had the talent to write, he would have. Let's not compare him to Obama, as he is not a celebrity or a man with any honor. Want facts, call his parole agent. I'm sure they would be more than happy to expose his criminal record over the past decade. His life is a very sad story. The only person he wasn't good enough for was himself, so he made it up. At the end of the day, his truth is actually far more interesting than his fiction.

Yup I agree Bipolar way off. Needs to do some research before mouthing off. Too bad this guy took a wrong turn. Seems to have the talent to write. BiPolar and those who do not know what is going on never read the 6 articles which were highly acclaimed. Too bad they were great. His TV writing on many Shows before he hit the skids in 1992 also highly successful. News Media do what they have always done and exaggerate to sell newspapers. Then there are those who join in and exaggerate more without checking what is true rather than what is not. ie:Obamas birth certificate.

Don't know the Facts. More than half his past shows are authentic. Even the Salinger interview took place outside a Shopping Mall in N.H. but Salinger the recluse refused to acknowledge it. Only two of his recent articles had copied paragraphs. Everyone is quick to jump and expand but have no facts which are true. Wake up already!!!

ATLawtip - yes, people cheat on exams and lie on job applications. Kunes created an entire false persona of which NOTHING is true. His fiction was used so that he could con hundreds of thousands of dollars from his victims. If his plagarism wasn't a big deal, then there wouldn't be all these articles being published about his illegal activity and he wouldn't be thrown back in jail. Duh!

Besides the articles (that we more than 90 word-for-word plagiarized) that Kunes published throughout the SB area, his Facebook and LinkedIn page is almost entirely false. No Pulitzer Prize nomination for this con-artist. However, feel free to stop by SB County Jail and ask him personally. Or see him at his court date on May 4th for his other illegal crimes.

Wikipedia editors exposed Kunes, that started it. Read "Talk" in the Kunes entry. His plagiarism wasn't a few phrases, a couple sentences, or even one paragraph. In five different stories, Kunes copied whole paragraphs word for word from Newsweek writers.
