She was born Evelyn Lederer, 30 Oct 1906, Chicago, IL. As Sue Carol, she was a Silent Movie Star turned agent for the Talkies. She discovered Alan Ladd and managed his career until his death. Ladd evenually became her 4th and last husband. She died 4 Feb 1982, Los Angeles.
