William Clement Frawley (February 26, 1887 – March 3, 1966) was an American stage entertainer, screen and television actor. Although Frawley appeared in over 100 film appearances, he is best known for his television work, playing landlord Fred Mertz in the long-running situation comedy I Love Lucy and "Bub" in another TV comedy series, My Three Sons.
