Yasin Malik (born 1966) is a Kashmiri separatist leader and former militant who advocates the separation of Kashmir from both India and Pakistan. In March 2020, Malik was charged for the murder of four Indian Air Force personnel during an attack in 1990 and is currently under trial. He is also facing trial for the kidnapping of Rubaiyya Sayeed. He is currently lodged in Tihar jail.
