My name is Andrea VanVeckhoven.

I am 29 years old and I am happily married to the greatest man in the whole world.

We have a blended family and together we have 6 beautiful children made up of 5 girls and 1 boy.

I have been through quite a lot in my short life.

And it was not until 3 years ago that I became truly happy in my life.

I am one of those people who express their feelings better on paper than verbally.

It has helped me tremendiously to get things off of my chest in some of my poems.

You know how you have to take antibiotics when you have an infection and they help you heal? Well that`s what writing has done for me.

I have written about some painful things in my life and since that time I have healed and grown and realized that I did deserve the happiness that I wanted so badly.
