One of the few, perhaps only, true conservatives in Congress. The rest so-called conservative congressmen are full of used food.

The only senator brave enough to vote against USAPATRIOT -- bravo!

A master of composing nasty sarcastic remarks about her betters, her only contribution to the welfare of mankind is remaining single.

I was rather sad to read of his death today (9/28/09). His columns in the Times were quite trenchant. I disagreed with him often enough but was always to read what he wrote. What a gifte writer! What a wry sense of humor!

My feelings about this guy are quite ambivalent. In my humble opinion, his heart is in the right place. He’s done some good things – educating his audience, shaming insurance companies into covering uncovered conditions for policy holders. Yet his in-your-face modus operandi irritates me. It is oft silly and counterproductive and, I believe, have turned off those who might otherwise agree with him. Nevertheless, I’m drawn to all his works.

Antic as this guy seems to be in his verbal and written screeds (which I think is just sham to entertain the audience) his writings on medicine and nutrition are usually spot on.

I can`t understand why we see so little of her after her great splash in New World.

Ms. Rand`s novels have a remarkable propensity to polarize their readers; some strongly agreeing with her polemics, others strongly disagreeing.
