A movie that holds true to the development of naval aviation. The struggle to get congress to allot funding for this branch of the service.Actual footage enhances the realism of the 1920`s and 30`s of naval aviation. Cooper is fine in the sequences of the 1940`s, but having him play the younger Scott in his 20`s and 30`s when he is in reality forty eight years old is just not convincing. It just doesn`t come across. If you like the history of the development onf naval aviation , this is an ok movie.
