If you or a loved one have EVER been harmed by a medical professional then you can completely relate to Ms. Yasbeck`s quest for accountability. Unfortunately, doctors protect doctors and it is almost impossible to get any of these people to do the right thing and step up. I was hoping she would have won her lawsuit and theld the doctors responsible. I hope and pray she gets a new trial and gets some type of justice. Most of all, she can take comfort that her difficult journey has resulted in saving other lives. I feel so bad for her as I know exactly what she`s going through and have started my own group to hold medical professionals accountable for their actions. You have no idea how many of them get away with everything.

Its NOT about the money! Its about holding the doctors accountable for misdiagnosis and not doing everything they can to save the patient`s life.

I totally agree with all the "negative comments" This is precisely why health insurace costs so much. It is one thing to work to help others like Katie Couric when her husband died of colon cancer. Doctors are not God and she`s already got tons of $. People always needing someone to blame and those greedy lawyers who feed on it is the downfall of our country. I think the negative comments I have read so far are very rude and insensitive. It`s not about the money, it`s about feeling that there was negligence in regards to your husband`s treatment. Unbelievable insensitivity. Just wait until you go through this. I hope you don`t but you may and you should think about other people`s feelings. This is devastating to go through.

I just read that the doctor`s have been cleared on all charges. I hope this will be the last time we hear from Amy Yasbeck for good. It isn`t enough that she got complete control over John`s money and settlements from doctor`s and hospitals but she had to sue on top of that. She should get a cover on People magazine as the Greediest Widow Alive!

Amy Yasbeck already received 14 million in settlements from the doctors and hospitals as a result of John Ritter`s death and now she`s suing for 67 million more? Wasnt the guy ALREADY filthy rich?
