Ok I`ll explain how I got those wierd nicknames, my first name sounds like How but my nickname ended up being a slang word used a lot by rappers that also could mean a garden implement or a thing in the ground that you might trip on. So theres a ditty that s sung by the seven dwarves when they go to work and I used to go to school and get that, around Christmas they would also chant my nickname three times because thats what santa claus would say around this time... There used to be a brand of crackers thats second word was the same thing and theres the the Green Giant thing. The cupcakes remark was because theres a brand of cupcakes that had one word that was the same. All this because I had an unusual first name and nobody wanted to try to learn it. Oh yeah my sophmore year my math teacher never pronounced my first name correctly for the whole year, I did`nt bother correcting him.
Congratulations on your new baby and hopefully she will not get too many strange nicknames. I had quite a strange batch of nicknames due to my first name being foreign and I ended up being called crackers, green giant, cupcakes. Around christmas time I would get a serenade of tunes and just a lot of strange things because no one wanted to call me by my real first name because of its non traditionalness...
