Dear Ms. Funicello, just wanted to let you know that you were really BIG in my life when I was a kid (I`m about five years younger than you) - and as a nurse and professional caregiver I appreciate the difficulty that your are facing. Thanks for the great memories - God Bless you with healing and strength. A loving fan. Dale

Always remember the fights I had with a pal over Annette,He thought Darlene was the GREATEST , I thought Annette. Funny I`m 65 and still remember those fights. Annette be well, BronxBoy23 aka Mark
I think about Annette and pray for her often. I really miss the days of seeing decent movies that were uplifting. I have had it with reality shows. I don`t watch for reality! Annette`s work was very uplifting.

For some reason I was thinking about Annette today. You don`t hear anything about her. Annette if you see this, you are still thought of and loved dearly. I always wish I could look like you when I was younger. All of those beach movies, how I wish I could be on the beach having all that fun. God Bless you Annette.

Annette is one month older than I and when we were 13 I envied her painfully. I was the victim of parental abuse and it took many years to get myself together. Now I am happily enjoying my many blessings. Everyone has some rain in their lives, either at the beginning or the end, I suppose. I am so glad I did it my way, after all.

Does anyone know where the Pineapple princess song comes from? Is it off of a movie or just a song? My dad absolutely loves it!!!! If any one knows that would be much appreciated!

When I was a child, I loved Annette so much. I used to pretend she was my sister--oh how I wanted to be Annette!! I so wanted to meet her also. The Mickey Mouse Club was the hightlight of my life--just to see mainly Annette. To meet her would be my life-long dream. I am a school teacher living in Detroit and I am 60 yrs old, but i will never forget Annette. I am praying for her. Anette, please know that all things is possible with God. If I had you address, I would send you one of my cd--I am also a gospel singer. May God forever bless and keep you..
Looking back on my childhood, I can remember Annette being my very first crush at that time. Then I remember my mom taking me to the drive-in movie and I saw her as a grown up opposite of Frankie Avalon. If I remember right, I was heart broken. Yes, she as usual was gorgeous, but I was about 5 or 6 at the time. What an injustice that was. What`s funny is that most of my friends look back and admit that they too had a crush on her. Only Annette could melt your heart singing M-I-C-K-E-Y. Oh well, as for me, "Now it`s time to say good-bye."
