In 1963 I was working as a temp doing of all things washing out the beer barrels at the Whitbread Brewery in London. One day a beautiful woman walked right up to me where I was working. With her was a photographer. I was asked if I would pose holding my outstretched hand looking at the lady. At the time I did not have a clue who she was or the significance of what was happening. A week or so later a full page picture of me looking at Jean Shrimpton appeared in one of the major women`s magazines of the day. To my chagrin I cannot remember which magazine it was. I did get a copy at the time and had the page glued into a photo album which got lost. I guess it would be worth a bit if I could only get a copy now!

Jean Shrimpton was the first supermodel. I was modelling in London at the same time and she was the very best. She had an exquisite face. David Bailey helped her career along. We all knew that a good photographer was a necessity and she bagged the very best. I am happy for her and know exactly what she means about putting all that behind her as have I. Life is a lot more simple these days, wrapped up with children and grandchildren, however, those days in London and Europe in the 60`s were the very best. Happy, happy memories.

I would love to know if I can contact Ms. Shrimpton to obtain an autographed picture or have her sign a picture I have. I would really appreciate it. Thank you so much and God bless her always. Sincerely dennis
