I found another error. Keith was born on July 1, 1954, not 1955. That is an easy mistake because of an error made on a birth certificate reissued to Keith in the late `70s. It even has the year of his birth on his tombstone as 1955. But his mother says he was born in 1954, and she would know. Keith was 17 days older than Ricky Skaggs. Keith was 34 when he died, not 33.

I know this bio came from imdb, but there were several glaring errors. First, Keith`s first name was Jackie. Jesse Keith Whitley is Keith`s son. Second, he was not born in Sandy Hook, he was born in Ashland, KY. He grew up in Sandy Hook. Lastly, he died on May 9, 1989--not May 8, 1989.
