I saw Pobi a few times - the best was when she had opened up for the Village People - this was somewhere around 1991 or so. I simply could not believe her voice - this was just after she had transitioned from the dance-music that helped her break into the music scene to her more industrial-goth thing. Me and my boyfriend thought it was pretty cool in a heavy serious kind of way. What happened to this girl? Besides dating one-and-a-half hunks as stated here - sorry, Mark`s not my style, but I remember Pobi covering one of Billy`s songs back then, I think that it was Blue Highway ala The Ministry - very vibey. Maybe she retired to Transylvania - I remember her Gary-Oldman in Dracula kind of hair.

I met Pobi two years back at a New Year`s party in Boston where the house band for the night was Aerosmith. She sang one tune with the band after Steve Tyler prodded her from the stage, saying that she had the best set of pipes that nobody hears anymore. They did a bluesy version of Rock and Roll by Led Zeppeling and, I have to say, it ROCKED! I`ve got a photo of her and her family toasting with Joe Perry from that night. Best New Years party in my 33 years! Talented girl. What happened to her??

I met Pobi at my brother`s pub in Monroe, N.Y. last year. She was with George Clooney. They were both very nice when I went up to them. I had seen her years ago at a local gig and she had autographed my chest. I asked her if she would autograph me again, and she did!
