Usher To Kickoff At The Nfl Season Opener:

Usher and Keith Urban will help ring in the 2008 NFL season with a free Sept. 4 concert at New York’s Columbus Circle.

Highlights will be sprinkled across the NFL Network, NFL.com and Sprint’s NFL Mobile Live. NBC will also air footage the following day.

The Sept. 4 show will lead into the NFL season opener between the Super Bowl champion New York Giants and the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

John Mellencamp, Faith Hill, Kelly Clarkson, Hinder and Keyshia Cole performed at last year’s NFL Kickoff concert in Indianapolis.
